Great pub, delicious food, friendly service and a wonderfully bizarre atmosphere, somewhere between a train station pub and a gambling den. The German version of "From dusk till dawn". Deductions in the B-note because there was good smoking in the hut.

If you walk the Hildegard von Bingen pilgrimage route and have correctly decided to split the first stage to Herrstein, you will reach the small village of Fischbach. (Possible and good accommodation can be found in the Pension Anni bei Prinz.) The gastronomic possibilities are limited in Fischbach and so the "Blue Grotto" is inevitably the only and best choice! You can eat and drink there at very fair prices. You sit at large tables and order at the counter. Very friendly and fast service. Simple and quick dishes and a mix of music from different decades. The popular meeting point also offers the possibility of a game of billiards. There are enough billiard tables.

Great with a host to roll the dice, almost always loses

As part of a bike tour u. a. From the mouth to the source of the Nahe, we spent the night nearby. At first we thought it was a restaurant. However, hardly ever passed the entrance, we were very surprised. A super cozy interior and a large hall with pool tables. The ceiling is ingeniously designed. The prices are cheap, the food was simple, but tasted great. Service is very friendly. There is also an outdoor area that we used due to the great weather. But inside you probably sit more comfortably. 5 Stars!!!

Good food, good prices and good offer for games. Everything from billiards, air hockey to table football is included and is actively supported by a music system in which the guests can live out their own taste!

From the motorhome parking good and quite quickly within walking distance.

Class atmosphere, cult bar in the circle Birkenfeld for young and old. Delicious food and super nice waitresses.

Good spaghetti Bolognese, delicious schnitzel with mushroom sauce like at mom's home ..; o) Good pizza where you can put the toppings together yourself. Salads are good and quite large portions. Also take away food. Cheap prices. With smoking area in the restaurant. Some billiards tables, darts, laser disk game ?, slot machines. Own music selection (with costs). Furniture a bit older, rustic but clean, a few tablecloths might look good; o), somehow cult, former discotheque with caves / grottos character .. do you find the owl in the rock walls? ;O)
